We’re flattered and very excited to take part in Hong Kong’s 12th Pecha Kucha night. For those that don’t know – and we didn’t ourselves until a few weeks ago- Pecha Kucha nights are little get-togethers in which participants each present twenty slides showing some recent project or work usually of an artistic or creative bent, with twenty seconds of talking per slide. The name means chit-chat. The concept was started by some architects in Tokyo but has spread all over the world now. This one will be held at The Hennessy in Wan Chai, is open to the public, and there’s free beer! We know a few of the presenters on the roster and it promises to be a fun and inspiring evening. With free beer! So no reason not to come out, Hong Kong readers.
After over three years working and not quite a year living in a nice big loft-like space on Hollywood Road, we’re moving on. From Thursday our tailoring studio will relocate to our shop on Aberdeen Street and our apartment to a “cozier” flat on Square Street a block away. We are very excited for this move, about which more certainly to come, but in the meantime, we’ve got a lot of stuff to sort out! If you’re in the market for furniture of all stripes, ceramics, art for your walls, textiles, books, clothes or just in the market for our company, swing by Saturday or Sunday 12-7 and have a rummage. The sale is cash only, but we’ve got a credit card machine at Moustache for those impulse buys… We’re open to the public, so feel free to tell your friends. Call 25458955 for more info.
