Here is a fun activity this Saturday and a good way to kick off Christmas shopping.I Love Soho is doing a repeat of their very successful shop walk and we are happy to be participating this time. You buy a ticket and you get a map and a passport to all the participating shops and venues and then you go off on your shop walk. As well as discounts at each shop you will get restorative drinks and nibbles and get a chance to win some great prizes. But the best aspect of this walk is that if you are not familiar with Noho and the wave of great new stores that have opened along with the people who have been here for a while , this is a great way to discover the neighborhood. So yes, we are biased , but we do think our neck of the woods has some really cool retail and cafe places. Among our tips for you to check out are the General Store on Gage Street who are doing a collaboration with Standard Vintage clothing, Halo for their great leather goods, Evelyn Artwear for fun Costume jewelry and the longest running boutique on Aberdeen street and stop in for the best coffee in town – seriously – at Sidewalk on Gough street.
All the information is on the flyer above where to buy tickets and the link to the website where you can get all the information that you need. Hope to see you all there!
Look at this cool old text book I came across. Even as an adult I find the back page to be immensely useful! And I find the advice on the front cover to be not only useful, but very space saving and also a great example of the versatility of the English language when changing only one letter !!!
We have been collecting all sorts of vintage and inspiring paper and book products here at Moustache which are inspirations for some new Moustache publishing ventures which you will be hearing about in the near future and this text book certainly joins our stash!
